You Knit Me Together in My Mother's Womb

Summary


The Psalmist prays like a child in a womb: "Where shall I flee from your presence? For you formed my inmost parts; you knit me together in my mother's womb." On Jan. 22, many stood outside in the cold on the anniversary of the landmark case, Roe vs. Wade, because our nation has stood outside the womb for 35 years with a cold heart toward the unborn children.

A large number of us stood on the old courthouse steps of Bloomington to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court to pave the way back to the old courthouse decisions that protected the unborn and outlawed abortions of any kind. Whether black, brown, white or other, the baby in the mother's womb is made in God's image with glory, gender and a God-given right to life.
