PONTIAC - The Pontiac City Council is expected to vote tonight on whether to prohibit the construction of wind turbines in and around the city.
The proposed ordinance would ban the building of wind farms in Pontiac, as well as within a 1.5 mile radius around the city limits. City Attorney Alan Schrock said the change would make sure the turbines did not hinder any potential growth.See the full content of this document
