BLOOMINGTON - Designed by one of the leading American sculptors of the 20th century, the 96-year-old "Trotter Fountain" in downtown Bloomington might be the most significant work of public art in the Twin Cities.
The Lorado Taft-designed fountain stands near the corner of East and Washington streets in Withers Park, just south of the National City bank building. The park is named for Withers Library, which stood at the site until it met the wrecking ball in the 1970s.See the full content of this document
