EAST PEORIA - Tri-Valley Middle School rallied for three runs and a 3-2 lead in the top of the third inning, but couldn't hold on as Springfield St. Agnes came back for a 6-3 in the championship game of the Illinois Elementary School Association Class 2A State Baseball Tournament at EastSide Centre.
Steven Dew had four hits to lead the Vikings (14-6), while Ben Ommen and Tyler Halloran added two apiece. Blake Lishka and Logan McKeon drove in two runs apiece for Tri-Valley in a 7-4 victory over Shelbyville Moulton in the semifinals.See the full content of this document
