CLINTON - The DeWitt County Board will continue to investigate the ongoing debate over the storage of chemicals at the Clinton Landfill, Board chairman Steve Lobb said, urging board members to do what is in the best interest of the county in general.
Lobb read a prepared statement at the conclusion of the board's monthly meeting Thursday, but the board did not discuss the landfill debate or make any reference to the Feb. 5 advisory referendum in which 74 percent of the voters opposed the storage of chemical waste at the landfill.See the full content of this document
