BLOOMINGTON - While money is being raised for the Children's Hospital of Illinois under construction in Peoria, funds are still needed for equipment and patient and family services in the existing hospital building.

The 23rd annual Children's Miracle Network/Children's Hospital of Illinois Telethon will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 1 on WEEK-TV. The telethon will be broadcast from the Macy's corridor of Eastland Mall, Bloomington, and from the RiverPlex in Peoria, said Mari Osborne, manager of the McLean County Children's Hospital Foundation office.
