BLOOMINGTON - The McLean County property tax rate could dip slightly instead of going up as projected in September because of some trims to the 2012 budget.

McLean County Board Chairman Matt Sorensen said Tuesday $69,150 was reduced from the proposed 2012 budget through the review process with the County Board's oversight committees.
