PEORIA - A lawsuit against LeRoy police, filed by the mother of two LeRoy boys killed by their father in March 2009, has been transferred from state to federal court.
Amy Leichtenberg filed a lawsuit in March asking $10 million from the city and its police officers in the deaths of Jack and Duncan Leichtenberg. Michael Connelly, the boys' father, killed the boys after he failed to return them from a weekend visit. The bodies of the boys and Connolly, who killed himself, were found three weeks later in a remote area of Putnam County.See the full content of this document
