In 1972 my husband was killed in an accident involving a "state" vehicle. There was no doubt that the driver of the state truck was totally at fault.
I did not receive any compensation from the state because the court ruled that state vehicles were "exempt" from the rules of the road. So, thanks to that state driver my six children grew up without their dad and I was left to struggle every day to try to feed and clothe my children.See the full content of this document
