Greetings from somewhere in the wilderness. The exact location isn't important. All I know is I'm hours away from the nearest sign of civilization. No cell phone. No Internet. Not even a nearby Casey's.

I'm with a man that I know to be my husband, but I haven't recognized him since we left Illinois. Somewhere along I-70, bushy facial hair began to cover his handsome face, and as we reached the West Virginia border, his regular clothes had transformed into full camouflage gear, including glow-in-the-dark hand-warmer muffs with super Velcro grip.
