Residents Work Together for Good of Community

Summary


Someone once said 20 percent of the people do 80 percent of the work. If you have ever tried to organize a committee, you soon find out that adage is true. However, when it comes to pitching in for a good cause, you might learn more people are willing to help than you thought.

In Lexington, it is hard to talk about the community without discussing the school district, and vice versa. When both come together for a good cause, great things can happen. This fall, there already have been several instances in which the school has asked the community to lend a hand, and the community sought help from the school.
