With fall hunting seasons getting under way this month, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources is encouraging new and experienced hunters to take a hunter safety course.
Illinois law requires the class for anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1980 before they can receive a hunting license. The courses are a good refresher for everyone. They include instruction on hunting regulations, hunter ethics and responsibility, archery, firearms, ammunition, first aid, wildlife identification and conservation.See the full content of this document
