Here we go again. Another politician is recommending closing a prison or two.This time it's Sen. Mike Jacobs, a Democrat from East Moline. He would like to see inmates from some of the state's older prisons transferred to a nearly empty prison in his northwestern Illinois district.

A few years ago it was Gov. Rod Blagojevich who was calling for prisons to be closed.
