GRAND RIDGE - Authorities still are waiting for experts' findings that will allow them to close the books on the case in which a Grand Ridge mother apparently killed her sons and herself and set fire to the family home.

"We don't even have the fire marshal's report back yet," LaSalle County Coroner Jody Bernard said Wednesday of the July 14 fire at 2136 N. 18th Road. She also is waiting for the final toxicology tests from the autopsy done in Bloomington, she said.
