BLOOMINGTON - Put this in your BlackBerry: Starting Jan. 1, Twin City police will enforce a new law that bans drivers from using cell phones in school and construction zones.

"There have been some deaths and serious accidents across our country because people were not paying attention to the road," said Normal Police Chief Kent Crutcher. "We fully support the legislators on this and I think it's a step in the right direction."
