NORMAL - The Illinois Liquor Control Commission has revoked the state liquor license for Akemi Homestyle Japanese Restaurant, 1531 Fort Jesse Road, for failure to file tax returns.
Ted Penesis, spokesman for the state commission, said the restaurant may not serve liquor without a state license. As of Thursday, Normal officials had not taken steps to formally revoke the local license.See the full content of this document
