STANFORD -- The debate over efforts to pull Hopedale out of the Olympia school district took an acrimonious turn this week when the village's mayor objected to an e-mail from one of the school board members.
Hopedale Mayor Ace Eilts says an e-mail from board member Laura Cremeens calls for benching Hopedale youths in local sports programs in favor of those who would remain in Olympia.
