Olympia Completes New Facility, Private Schools Seeing Growth

Summary


While Olympia North Elementary School students were enjoying their summer break, their old school building was razed and construction of a new $9 million school completed. In August, about 285 children resumed their education in a much different building in Danvers.

While test scores don't necessarily reflect the benefits of natural light, air exchange and temperature regulation, "the comfort level of the learning environment is much improved," said Olympia Superintendent Brad Hutchison.
