Summary


Where there's a will there's a way. And where there's a loophole, lobbyists and lawmakers will jump through it -- or fly through it.

An ethics reform package approved last year placed restrictions on what lobbyists could give to lawmakers. To end some of the vagueness of the original Gift Ban Act, it placed a $75 daily limit on the food and drinks that lobbyists and contractors could provide to lawmakers and state employees.
