OTTAWA -- Building codes will remain in force for rural LaSalle County for now, despite an advisory referendum in November in which voters overwhelmingly rejected the codes.
The development committee of the County Board chose not to act on a motion Friday to rescind the codes. The resolution then would have had to go to the full board for final approval.See the full content of this document
