Lagrone Attorney Asking for Delay in Murder Trial

CLINTON -- Maurice LaGrone Jr.'s murder trial likely will be postponed beyond May 2, according to attorneys for the man accused in the drowning deaths of his then-girlfriend's three children.

LaGrone and Amanda Hamm each are charged with nine counts of first-degree murder. They are accused of intentionally drowning Hamm's three young children in Clinton Lake on Sept. 2, 2003.
