BLOOMINGTON -- Fall flu shot clinics were canceled or suspended Wednesday, and Central Illinois health officials conceded there won't be enough flu vaccine for all of their high-risk patients.

Those conclusions indicated the severity of the international flu vaccine crisis, which broke Tuesday when the supplier of around half of the flu vaccine announced it was halting shipments after problems were discovered at a British manufacturing facility.
