OTTAWA - A jury took less than a half-hour Wednesday to decide Keith Mackowiak is fit to stand trial on murder charges in the death of the elderly parents of a Normal woman.
Mackowiak, 41, of Seneca is charged with killing Aloysius Twardowski, 84, and his wife, Catherine, 87, both of Seneca, on July 12, 2007. Authorities said they interrupted him during a home burglary, police said.See the full content of this document
