BLOOMINGTON - Clinton attorney Richard Koritz will represent Anthony Fletcher at a jury trial Monday on child molestation and pornography charges despite Fletcher's request for a new lawyer.
Fletcher, 43, known as a jailhouse lawyer because of the legal assistance he gives other inmates, argued with Koritz during a pretrial hearing Friday. Fletcher told Judge Kevin Fitzgerald that he believed a conflict of interest exists because a member of Koritz's family works as a prosecutor.See the full content of this document
