ST. LOUIS - The Illinois State athletics department will seek Board of Trustees approval Friday to rename its baseball field in honor of former coach Duffy Bass and change the name of the ISU Golf Course to honor former Redbird and long time professional golfer D.A. Weibring.

"I can confirm that is certainly on the agenda. We have forwarded those as agenda items," ISU athletics director Sheahon Zenger said Tuesday at Gateway Conference Media Day. "It's beyond the scope of my position to elaborate until the meeting actually occurs."
