BLOOMINGTON - Investigators are still trying to find the cause of a fraternity house fire, but have decided two appliances caused an accidental fire that damaged another home.

Bloomington Fire Capt. Eric Vaughn expects investigators will know today what caused a fire that damaged the three-story Phi Mu Alpha fraternity house, 303 E. Chestnut St. Students escaped after hearing smoke alarms about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, The Pantagraph previously reported.
