Oct. 25, 1908: A forest fire threatened the apple orchard at Lilly, 20 miles west of Bloomington just over the Tazewell County line. The blaze was set by careless hunters who torched some underbrush to flush out some game. The fire spread, but the danger is now past.See the full content of this document
