PORTLAND, Ore. - Kevin Emberton hopes his dream of becoming a Division I head football coach can be sped along if he learns from nationally known coaches.

The 27-year-old Normal West High School graduate's journey grew shorter Monday with the announcement he will be the outside linebackers coach at Portland State University under former NFL coach Jerry Glanville.
