BLOOMINGTON - Olympia High School's Matt Frahm and Tri-Valley's Stephanie Brown were recognized as the Male and Female Athletes of the Year on Monday night at the second annual State Farm Student- Athlete Recognition banquet at the Chateau Hotel and Conference Center.

Frahm was a standout basketball player for the Spartans and helped the baseball team to a second straight Class 2A state championship this past weekend. Brown, who is bound for the University of Arkansas, became the first girl in state history to win the 800-meter run four times.
