Foxes Portrayed Inaccurately in Story

Summary


In the Jan. 16 Pantagraph article "Trapped," foxes are referred to as "nuisance" animals. This is not the case.

According to the Project Wildlife Web page, "Foxes perform a valuable service to humans by controlling the small-rodent (mice, gophers, moles, rats) population, so they should be viewed by humans as an ally. They will not attack a human."
