BLOOMINGTON - A total of 14 employees were given pink slips by the city of Bloomington this year as it cut a total of $4 million in salaries from its budget.

Overall, the city has cut a total of 71 jobs. Fifty-seven of those were eliminated through attrition when employees took the city's offer for early retirement.
