Brad Wood, operations supervisor at Comlara Park/Evergreen Lake speaks to the PrairieLand Anglers Fishing Club at 7 o'clock tonight at the UAW Hall just west of Bloomington on Illinois 9.

Mike Steffa, McLean County parks and recreation supervisor, gave a preview of some of the hot topics:- Crappie regulations change at the 900-acre reservoir on April 1. The new rules allow anglers to reel in 15 crappies per day. Until then, the old rule applies - each crappie kept must be at least 9 inches long. There are some dandy crappies there as evidenced by the biggest crappie reported in the 2009 Big Fish Contest, a 13.5-inch fish nabbed by Carroll Herman of Washington. It weighed 1 pound, 4 ounces.
