Mike Steffa, McLean County parks and recreation supervisor, gave a preview of some of the hot topics:- Crappie regulations change at the 900-acre reservoir on April 1. The new rules allow anglers to reel in 15 crappies per day. Until then, the old rule applies - each crappie kept must be at least 9 inches long. There are some dandy crappies there as evidenced by the biggest crappie reported in the 2009 Big Fish Contest, a 13.5-inch fish nabbed by Carroll Herman of Washington.
