FOOSLAND - Opal Norrene Albin, 95, rural Foosland, passed away peacefully at 6 p.m. Monday (May 25, 2009) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, with her family at her side.
A Rebekah service will be at 11 a.m. Friday followed by her funeral at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Bellflower, with the Rev. Steve Barrow officiating. Burial will be in Bellflower Township Cemetery, Bellflower. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bellflower United Methodist Church, Bellflower, or the Owl Creek Rebekah Lodge, Fisher.Mrs. Albin was born Dec. 4, 1913, at Fisher, a daughter of William A. "Ott" and Minnie Reed Loveless. She married Clifford Lester "Doc" Albin on Dec. 14, 1933, at Covington.
