Summary


When we think of life-saving courses, we tend to think of adults learning CPR and first aid, or maybe learning to use automated external defibrillators (AED). These are important and valuable classes that we encourage everyone to take.

But did you know that the American Red Cross annually trains nearly 120,000 baby sitters? That's right, 11- to 15-year-olds who are interested in making some money this summer or during the school year can take the baby sitters training course.
