Council Oks Transit Changes

Summary


BLOOMINGTON - The Bloomington City Council has approved $50,000 in additional funding to keep the Twin City transit system's Teal J route running for another year.

The council also voted this week to expand the Bloomington- Normal Public Transit System board from five members to seven, resolving a disagreement between the city and town of Normal over the makeup of the board. The new BNPTS board will have four Bloomington appointees and three from Normal.
