Council Endorses Plan for Affordable Subdivision

Summary


BLOOMINGTON - A plan to turn a former candy factory site into a subdivision of affordable housing received the Bloomington City Councils approval.

Mid Central Community Action can move forward with building 23 houses on the land once occupied by the former Paul F. Beich Co. candy factory. Last year, fire destroyed the closed plant in the 100 block of Lumber Street.
