SPRINGFIELD -- Analysts say the U.S. Supreme Court's dual decisions Monday regarding the Ten Commandments mirror divisions within the country over issues of religion and government.

"The court has set itself up to go case by case, fact by fact, to determine if it is legal or not to post the Ten Commandments in some type of public building," said Illinois State University political scientist Robert Bradley.
