Colorado Ski Resorts Rate Tops with Travelers

Summary


Resorts in Colorado claimed nine of the top 20 places to ski in a reader poll by Conde Nast Traveler magazine.

Aspen and Telluride, both in Colorado, took the top two spots. Jackson Hole, Wyo., ranked second. Then came Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia; Deer Valley and Park City in Utah; Vail, Colo.; Sun Valley, Idaho; Tremblant in Quebec, Canada; Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, and Steamboat, all in Colorado; Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada; Ski Santa Fe and Taos Ski Valley, N.M.; Ski Banff at Norquay, Alberta; Crested Butte, Colo.; Stowe, Vt.; and Snowmass and Purgatory at Durango, both in Colorado.
