BLOOMINGTON -- The Normal Epiphany Grade School girls basketball team won the Illinois Elementary School Association Class 8A state tournament championship Thursday night at Central Catholic High School, downing Springfield Blessed Sacrament, 34-29.
Epiphany, led by Danielle Highland's 10 points and 13 rebounds, ended the season 26-1 after securing its first state title. The Epiphany eighth-graders finished 93-3 since fifth grade.See the full content of this document
