BLOOMINGTON - In the dead heat of summer, Civil War re-enactors sometimes spend three or four days at a time camping - and sweating - in their wool uniforms.

But the re-enactors in Company H of the 104th Illinois Volunteer Infantry were thankful for their uniforms Saturday morning as they fought a chilly wind to set up camp on the quad at Illinois Wesleyan University.
