I am writing in response to the letters published Oct. 6 ("Lost lunch ticket policy could mean hungry kids") and Oct. 24 ("School should be lenient on lost lunch tickets").
I am employed by Unit 5 food service and I know for a fact that the elementary school that I work at has never let a child go without eating a lunch, regardless if they had a ticket or not. They borrow one in the office if they have lost theirs or it has been misplaced.See the full content of this document
