Tommy Schield scored a game-high 13 points to help the Blue Ridge High School boys basketball team to its first Sangamon Valley victory, 47-31 at Hoopeston Friday night.
Hoopeston jumped out to a 9-5 lead after one quarter before Blue Ridge (2-11, 1-5) rallied to take a 24-21 lead at the half.
