QI read your column about trimming dog's nails a few weeks ago and am disappointed that you didn't mention filing the nails with a Dremel. Our dog used to be scared to death to have his nail trimmed with a regular nail clipper, but he does fine with using the Dremel. It also doesn't cost us money to take him to the veterinarian or groomer every time his nails get too long.

A: For those of you who don't know, a Dremel is a small power tool used for drilling, sawing, grinding, etc. People who do woodworking and different types of crafts use a Dremel for lots of these types of functions.
