SPRINGFIELD - An attorney for a man convicted in a 1993 murder says she will seek a review of Alan Beaman's case by the Illinois Supreme Court.

"You have to continue to have hope in a case like this," said Karen Daniel of the Center on Wrongful Convictions at Northwestern University, Evanston. "It was encouraging, certainly, that one justice agreed with our decisions that we took. And we do intend to seek further review of this from the Illinois Supreme Court."
