BLOOMINGTON - When Charles Webster of Bloomington flew home from Atlanta, Ga., in January, he was struck by how much Central Illinois Regional Airport has grown into the role of a bustling, "big-time" airport.

"I remember when it wasn't much more than a terminal and a restaurant," he said. "Now, it has the feel of a real, big-time airport, but without the travel headaches you might find at someplace like St. Louis or Chicago. It's easy to find where you need to go."
