Well-Aimed 'Shooter'

Seems like old times in "Shooter," a smoothly cynical conspiracy thriller with its roots embedded in the '70s paranoia tradition of "Three Days of the Condor" and "The Parallax View." These key movie references aren't mentioned lightly, since Jonathan Lemkin's script hails from a novel ("Point of Impact") by thriller author Stephen Hunter, whose day job is as a long-running East Coast film critic.
